Privacy policy

This page explains what we keep about you, who sees it and how to remove it.

The site is run from Serbia. We follow the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), whichever country you are in.

What we keep

• Account: name, email, password (only as a hash), and the phone, country and city if you add them.
• What you post: your stock with photos and prices, your wanted requests, cars, warehouses and favorites.
• Messages: what you and other users write to each other on the site, kept until one of you deletes the account.
• Guest requests: the email you leave for sellers' offers.
• Telegram: the chat id, if you connect the bot.

Why we keep it

• Your account, listings, requests, offers and messages: to give you the service you signed up for (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
• Limits, the hash of your IP address, complaints and moderation: to keep the site safe from spam and abuse, our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
• Notifications by email and Telegram: only the ones you keep switched on in My profile.

Who sees it

• Wanted requests are public, but without contacts: other users see the part, the place and your name (or "Guest").
• A seller who has the part sends you an offer; you get it by email or Telegram with the seller's contacts, and decide whether to answer.
• Users with a confirmed email see the contacts of sellers on the cards of their parts in stock.
• The site's administrators are told of new chats with the search assistant: the first message and the country it came from, to see how well the assistant helps.
• We don't sell or pass your data to anyone else.

Services that get some data

• Anthropic (Claude): the photos you send to "Recognize from photo" and what you write to the search assistant, to read the part off them. Anthropic doesn't use them to train its models.
• eBay: part numbers you search for, to find vehicle compatibility and categories. Nothing about you goes with them.
• Email and Telegram: the letters and messages the site sends you go through them.

Anthropic is in the USA, so the photos and texts sent to it leave Europe; this is covered by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

Your IP address

We use it to suggest your country and city and to limit abuse. The web server's log keeps it with the pages you open for 14 days, to count visitors and find errors. The search assistant keeps only a hash of it, which can't be turned back into the address, for about a year to count the limits.

How long we keep it

• Account and everything in it: until you delete the account.
• Guest requests with their email and phone: deleted 90 days after the request closes.
• The hash of your IP address in the search assistant: about a year.
• The web server's log with IP addresses: 14 days.
• Backup copies of the database: 14 days, so deleted data is gone from them by then too.

Cookies

Only the ones the site needs: the login session, the language and the currency. No ads or tracking.

Your rights

• Get a copy of your data and take it to another service: press "Download my data" in My profile.
• Correct it: edit your profile, listings and requests at any time.
• Delete it: see below.
• Object to how we use it, or ask us to limit it: write to us.
• Turn notifications off at any time in My profile.

If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Serbian Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs) or to the data protection authority of your country.

Children

The site is for people aged 16 and over. We don't knowingly keep data of younger children; if you see such an account, let us know and we will delete it.

Deleting your data

Delete a request or a part at any time. To delete your account with everything in it, open My profile and press "Delete account": it is removed at once and can't be restored.
